Microbial testing is a critical component of food safety programmes. Testing is used to ensure that food safety measures are effective. The combination of effective testing, robust cleaning procedures, and an effective food safety programme helps ensure your food is safe.
Our products that are designed to produce meaningful results, quickly, accurately, and easily. Rapid and easy to use test kits help producers quickly verify that the sample is free from harmful bacteria, such as E. coli, Listeria, Salmonella or other pathogens.
Rapid microbiological testing products help provide insights into the processing environment and information related to hygiene, cleaning and product quality often in less than 48 hours.

ANSR® Pathogen Detection

ANSR® from Neogen® provides rapid molecular pathogen detection in an easy to use platform that supports a non-enrichment and an enrichment methodology to suit your needs. With its small footprint and easy workflow, ANSR integrates well with existing lab space and personnel. The platform is also scalable, allowing for high adaptability to your needs.
Whether you need to detect, or just confirm pathogens from the environment, or even from product, the ANSR system has you covered. The platform’s unique enrichment and assay result in minimal matrix effects as compared to conventional methods in food and environmental pathogen tests.Plus, when combined with the Right Now methodology, you have a simple single system to address your pathogen detection needs in a fast, easy-to-use and inexpensive package. This mitigates your risk while saving you money and time.

Soleris® System and Vials

Soleris rapid microbial detection system Soleris® System for Rapid Microbial Detection The Soleris system is a rapid optical system for the detection of microbial contamination based on an innovative application of classic microbiology. The optical assay measures microbial growth by monitoring pH and other biochemical reactions that generate a colour change, as microorganisms in the broth grow and metabolize nutrients. The results are monitored by the system providing an alert for samples that are out of specification.
Sensitivity ranges from a single organism per vial to 108 cfu/mL (upper limit).

Available Products
• Soleris Vial, Alicyclobacillus (ACB) • Soleris Vial, Enterobacteriaceae Buffered
• Soleris Vial, Coliform • Soleris Vial, Orange Serum Broth, Non-Fermenting
• Soleris Vial, Coliform Buffered • Soleris Vial, Staphylococcus
• Soleris Vial, Direct Coliform • Soleris Vial, Total Viable Count (TVC), Non-Fermenting
• Soleris Vial, Direct Lactic Acid • Soleris Vial, Total Viable Count (TVC), Non-Fermenting UHT

• Soleris Vial, Enterobacteriaceae • Soleris Vial, Enterobacteriaceae Buffered

Reveal® 2.0

Reveal® lateral flow device combines an immunoassay with chromatography for a rapid and accurate one-step result. Results are available 15 minutes after enrichment. The tests’ unique antibodies ensure sensitivity and specificity. Built-in visual control lines provide definitive interpretations.
Reveal 2.0 test system from Neogen® maintains all the performance of its previous generation, but it has been streamlined to a cartridge-free design and validated on a more comprehensive list of matrices.

Available Products:
• Reveal 2.0 for E. coli O157:H7
• Reveal 2.0 for Listeria
• Reveal 2.0 for Salmonella
• Reveal 2.0 for Group D1 Salmonella (including SE)

Neogen Filter and Ampoules

Neogen Filter and Ampoules The Neogen® Filter test system utilises 2 mL ampouled media to enumerate and detect a wide variety of microorganisms in liquid samples.
Add up to 100 mL of liquid sample and filter by applying a vacuum. Add ampouled media and apply a very brief vacuum. Remove the funnel and place the Neogen Filter cover over the filter/base assembly, converting the unit to a Petri dish. Place a plug onto the open bottom port of the unit and place into the incubator upright at the appropriate temperature for a specified period of time. See package insert for complete instructions.

Available Products:
• Neogen Filters “white”
• Neogen Filters “black”
• Neogen Filter Silicone Stopper
• m-Endo Broth 2mls
• m-Green Yeast & Fungi Broth 2mls
• MI Broth 2mls
• M-TGE Broth 2mls
• PRY Broth 2mls
• Orange Serum Broth 2mls

NEO-GRID® disposable units and ISO-GRID® membranes are filtration systems used on food, beverage and water samples for the detection, confirmation and enumeration of microorganisms including yeast and mould, total plate counts, coliforms, generic E. coli, E. coli O157:H7, Salmonella, Listeria, Listeria monocytogenes, Staphylococcus and more.
ISO-GRID/NEO-GRID tests are based on the concept of hydrophobic grid membrane filtration. The filter membrane is embossed with hydrophobic ink to produce a grid containing 1600 individual squares. The ink’s hydrophobic nature contains the growth of an organism isolated during the filtration process within the square of capture.

Available products:
• Neofilm for Aerobic Count
• Neofilm for Aerobic count Rapid
• Neofilm for Coliform Count
• Neofilm for E.coli/Coliform
• Neofilm for Yeast and Moulds
• Neofilm for Staphylococcus Aureus
